22nd August from 12pm - 6pm

An afternoon of live bands at the Beech Hill Memorial Hall for all ages.

Save the date!

Food and bar available

It's summer, and this time of year is when the village Memorial Hall trustees plan and organise a village event for us all to enjoy.

This year we are having a LIVE MUSIC CONCERT!

SAVE THE DATE ; 22nd August 2021 from 12noon to 6pm

You may recall, that two summers ago, we had a village fete, and we were lucky enough to have 'ROSEDALE THE BAND' come and perform for us.

This year, we are having a live music event, with more bands.

The ELM TREE PUB have offered to provide a HOG ROAST plus a veggie option.

We will man a BEER TENT.

We will get out of storage our 'splat the rat' and 'hook a duck' etc. to amuse the children.

Bring the family, bring a picnic blanket, and have a pleasant afternoon chilling out!

The idea is to help promote young talent, and is the brilliant idea from Nick Bettes from 'Rosedale the Band'

This is what he has to say:

We are looking for local bands to play at Beech Hill Bandstand on August 22nd 2021. The event is for local bands who are just starting out and who are looking for gig experience

You'll need to have a 30-40 minute set (any genre is fine but bear in mind the audience will include families with children). We'll provide the PA and drums and help setting up.

We are particularly looking for young bands (late school year or just post-school) who are perhaps looking for their first gig. The event will be relaxed and fun, with the audience composed mainly of family and friends.
